I Love Babies!

Can I just say that there are not many things better than getting a group hug from the coolest little kids this world has seen?

This song totally describes this fast-approaching trip. It's called "While We're Young" and it makes Mama and me cry. :)

I haven't had a lot of experience with little kids, but I still love them! They are all precious, and I see such potential in all of them! They are the greatest examples of Christlike love that we have in this world. No wonder Christ told the children to come unto Him; they are so alike. In fact, I could sure learn a lot faster how to be Christlike if I just walked into primary! haha

I hope to be called childlike someday, because they are the greatest. No contest. :)

I am so lucky! :D

  1. This entry, of course, made me cry!! I only had to think about our shared memory of the Lower Elementary children doing the American Sign Language that goes along with this song for the tears to begin to flow - and then, to make things worse, of course, I had to play the song since you had a link to it!! Dad knelt by me listening to it, too, and I think I heard sniffles coming from his direction as well....

I told him after about the amazing experience we had when you and I both realized how fitting this song is to what you were about to encounter in your young life. And now you are living it!!

You have traveled MANY miles, are climbing beautiful mountains daily, conquering new worlds, both within and without. You are finding your own future, whispering LOTS of prayers.... You are breathing in each moment, dreaming big and loving even bigger. I am so proud of you! You are making new friends as well as precious memories.

Susannah, my darling, you couldn't be using your time any better than you currently are as you walk the road to all you will become.... All the world IS an empty canvas before you, and you are coloring each day STUNNING shades of every color! What a picture you are going to end up with - one to treasure forever, and to share with others through writing these beautiful blogs and in your journal. You are uniquely talented at being able to not only FEEL deeply but also be able to EXPRESS in writing the depth of your experiences. I love you, sweet girl, and so will these children - more and more each day!
